Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Telecoms and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 fell 1.27%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Alfa Laval AB (ST:ALFA), which rose 0.54% or 0.8 points to trade at 149.7 at the close. Meanwhile, ASSA ABLOY AB ser. B (ST:ASSAb) fell 0.12% or 0.2 points to end at 165.0 and Svenska Cellulosa AB SCA ser. B (ST:SCAb) was down 0.21% or 0.5 points to 239.8 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Lundin Petroleum AB (ST:LUPE), which fell 3.01% or 3.70 points to trade at 119.20 at the close. Telefonaktiebolaget L M Ericsson B (ST:ERICb) declined 3.00% or 2.50 points to end at 80.90 and SKF, AB ser. B (ST:SKFb) was down 2.81% or 4.3 points to 148.6.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 350 to 212 and 1 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 2.55% or 1.12 to $42.86 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 1.90% or 0.91 to hit $46.63 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.03% or 0.30 to trade at $1165.90 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.24% to 9.3851, while USD/SEK fell 0.10% to 8.5000.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.08% at 96.99.
