Australia's unemployment rate remained steady at 5.5 per cent in March.
The unemployment rate held at 5.5 per cent for the third consecutive month, according to seasonally adjusted figures from The Australian Bureau of Statistics.
The number of full-time positions fell by 19,900, against a rise in the total number of people with jobs of 4,900. Part-time jobs were up by 28,800.
The figures were in line with expectations.
