SYDNEY, Feb 17 (Reuters) - A private survey of Australian inflation will be renamed as the Melbourne Institute Monthly Inflation Gauge, as TD Securities ended its sponsorship of the report after more than a decade.
The Melbourne Institute said the name change is effective from the March issue, due on Feb. 29. The release time will now be at 1100 Sydney time, instead of 1030. There is no change in the content of this report, it said.
The monthly report helps fill a gap left by the Australian Bureau of Statistics, which produces its own inflation report on a quarterly basis.
