WELLINGTON, Nov 4 (Reuters) - New Zealand's unemployment rate rose to 6.0 percent in the third quarter, while wages rose moderately, according to data released by Statistics New Zealand on Wednesday.

Economists polled by Reuters had forecast an unemployment rate of 6.0 percent and employment growth of 0.4 percent, and wages to rise 1.9 percent on the year. ---------------------------------------------------------------- (Seasonally adjusted; revised from in brackets)
