Investing.com – Finland equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Technology, Financials and Consumer Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 lost 0.14%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V), which rose 3.15% or 0.1650 points to trade at 5.4100 at the close. Valmt (HE:VALMT) added 2.01% or 0.25 points to end at 12.69 and Outotec Oyj (HE:OTE1V) was up 0.84% or 0.034 points to 4.088 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Konecranes Oyj (HE:KCR1V), which lost 1.61% or 0.47 points to trade at 28.77 in late trade. Wartsila Oyj Abp (HE:WRT1V) declined 1.18% or 0.44 points to end at 36.97 and Amer Sports Corporation (HE:AMEAS) shed 1.16% or 0.33 points to 28.00.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 102 to 82 and 14 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for November delivery was up 1.69% or 0.79 to $47.62 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in October rose 2.45% or 1.08 to hit $45.23 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.23% or 3.10 to trade at $1331.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.04% to 1.1151, while EUR/GBP fell 0.30% to 0.8375.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.14% at 95.74.
