Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Software & Computer Services, Technology and Personal & Household Goods sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 1.58%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (CO:GEN), which rose 0.82% or 7.5 points to trade at 925.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Novozymes B (CO:NZYMb) fell 0.67% or 2.2 points to end at 328.4 and A.P. Moller - Maersk B (CO:MAERSKb) was down 0.95% or 85 points to 8890 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS), which fell 4.63% or 11.1 points to trade at 228.9 at the close. Tryg A/S (CO:TRYG) declined 3.28% or 4.5 points to end at 132.9 and Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) was down 2.78% or 15.5 points to 541.5.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 112 to 53 and 4 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for February delivery was down 1.32% or 0.49 to $36.55 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 0.79% or 0.29 to hit $36.98 a barrel, while the February Gold contract rose 1.51% or 16.00 to trade at $1076.20 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.48% to 6.8986, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4624.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.27% at 99.04.
