Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Technology, Healthcare and Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 declined 0.15%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb), which rose 7.33% or 37.00 points to trade at 542.00 at the close. Tele2 AB (ST:TEL2b) added 1.30% or 0.95 points to end at 73.80 and Electrolux, AB ser. B (ST:ELUXb) was up 0.91% or 1.9 points to 210.6 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Nokia Oyj (ST:NOKIA), which lost 1.88% or 0.91 points to trade at 47.42 in late trade. Telefonaktiebolaget L M Ericsson B (ST:ERICb) declined 1.83% or 1.50 points to end at 80.45 and Securitas AB ser. B (ST:SECUb) shed 1.82% or 2.50 points to 134.50.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 324 to 214 and 63 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for May delivery was up 3.34% or 1.35 to $41.71 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 3.69% or 1.58 to hit $44.41 a barrel, while the June Gold contract fell 0.10% or 1.20 to trade at $1256.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.59% to 9.2008, while USD/SEK fell 0.45% to 8.0764.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.06% at 94.03.
