Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Commercial Service And Supplies, Real Estate and Banking sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX fell 1.18% to hit a new 3-months low.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OSLO:GOGLT), which rose 2.66% or 0.80 points to trade at 30.90 at the close. Meanwhile, Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd (OSLO:RCLo) added 1.44% or 9.0 points to end at 635.0 and Marine Harvest ASA (OSLO:MHG) was up 0.78% or 0.70 points to 90.65 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were DNO International ASA (OSLO:DNO), which fell 4.49% or 0.46 points to trade at 9.79 at the close. Aker Solutions OL (OSLO:AKSOL) declined 3.27% or 1.40 points to end at 41.38 and DnB ASA (OSLO:DNB) was down 2.78% or 3.6 points to 125.8.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 126 to 43 and 10 ended unchanged.
Shares in DNO International ASA (OSLO:DNO) fell to 52-week lows; falling 4.49% or 0.46 to 9.79.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 2.58% or 1.43 to $54.09 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 3.37% or 2.04 to hit $58.28 a barrel, while the August Gold contract fell 0.03% or 0.40 to trade at $1167.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.60% to 8.9327, while USD/NOK rose 0.98% to 8.0646.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.07% at 96.30.
