Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Multi Investment, Transport and Building & Construction sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 0.78%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8311), which rose 10.04% or 1.25 points to trade at 13.70 at the close. Gulf General Cooperative Insurance (SE:8260) added 5.14% or 0.85 points to end at 17.40 and Al-Tayyar Travel Group Holding Co. (SE:1810) was up 4.62% or 1.90 points to 43.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Jazan Development Co. (SE:6090), which lost 5.20% or 0.70 points to trade at 12.75 in late trade. Knowledge Economic City (SE:4310) declined 5.08% or 0.75 points to end at 14.00 and Aseer Trading Tourism&Manufacturing (SE:4080) shed 5.00% or 1.10 points to 20.90.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 129 to 30 and 9 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was up 1.67% or 0.73 to $44.38 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 1.53% or 0.69 to hit $45.66 a barrel, while the June Gold contract fell 0.38% or 4.95 to trade at $1286.85 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.04% to 4.3096, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7504.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.13% at 93.14.
