Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Telecoms & IT, Insurance and Industrial Investment sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.81%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were The Company for Coop. Insurance (SE:8010), which rose 6.98% or 7.75 points to trade at 118.75 at the close. Taiba Holding Co. (SE:4090) added 5.51% or 2.20 points to end at 42.10 and Al-Rajhi Cooperative Insurance (SE:8230) was up 4.16% or 1.80 points to 45.10 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Dallah Healthcare Holding Company (SE:4004), which lost 2.49% or 2.50 points to trade at 98.00 in late trade. Alinma Tokio Marine Co (SE:8312) declined 1.99% or 0.40 points to end at 19.70 and Saudi Electricity Company (SE:5110) shed 1.81% or 0.45 points to 24.45.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 74 to 56 and 40 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for March delivery was up 0.56% or 0.30 to $53.41 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 0.61% or 0.34 to hit $56.09 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.55% or 6.75 to trade at $1239.85 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.45% to 3.9940, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7506.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.49% at 100.58.
