Investing.com – Norway equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Consumer Durables And Apparel, Telecoms and Transport sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX lost 0.19%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Orkla ASA (OL:ORK), which rose 1.98% or 1.60 points to trade at 82.60 at the close. Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS) added 0.98% or 0.17 points to end at 17.37 and Norsk Hydro ASA (OL:NHY) was up 0.80% or 0.28 points to 35.35 in late trade.
Biggest losers included REC Silicon ASA (OL:REC), which lost 20.04% or 0.24 points to trade at 0.96 in late trade. Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT) declined 2.99% or 1.10 points to end at 35.70 and DNO International ASA (OL:DNO) shed 2.47% or 0.20 points to 7.88.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 104 to 72 and 21 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was down 2.74% or 1.27 to $45.05 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 2.39% or 1.14 to hit $46.51 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.26% or 3.45 to trade at $1341.25 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.13% to 9.1058, while USD/NOK fell 0.24% to 8.1152.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.15% at 95.45.
