Investing.com - This week the economic calendar will include the Fed’s preferred inflation measure, the core PCE price index on Friday
along with the third reading on first quarter U.S. GDP on Thursday, as well as data on durable goods orders and consumer sentiment
The week will also see a smattering of U.S. earnings, including from Carnival (LON:CCL), Lennar (NYSE:LEN), Bed, Bath & Beyond, Nike (NYSE:NKE), General Mills (NYSE:GIS) and ConAgra Brands
The euro zone is to release a preliminary inflation estimate on Friday, while EU leaders are to hold a two-day summit in Brussels, which kicks off on Thursday
Trade tensions look likely to remain in focus, after EU tariffs on U.S. imports came into effect last Thursday, prompting fresh threats from U.S. President Donald Trump .
