Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Real Estate, Financials and Oil & Gas sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.24%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS), which rose 1.46% or 3.8 points to trade at 263.3 at the close. ISS A/S (CO:ISS) added 0.88% or 2.20 points to end at 252.20 and Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb) was up 0.54% or 3.5 points to 647.5 in late trade.
Biggest losers included A.P. Moller - Maersk A (CO:MAERSKa), which lost 1.66% or 140 points to trade at 8270 in late trade. Genmab (CO:GEN) declined 1.58% or 19.0 points to end at 1183.0 and A.P. Moller - Maersk B (CO:MAERSKb) shed 1.37% or 120 points to 8655.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 76 to 64 and 16 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was down 4.23% or 1.98 to $44.82 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 4.50% or 2.18 to hit $46.29 a barrel, while the August Gold contract rose 0.66% or 8.85 to trade at $1344.15 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.42% to 6.6967, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4380.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.36% at 96.20.
