Canadian foreign securities purchases 38.84B vs. 5.21B forecast

Investing.com - Foreign investment in Canada rose more-than-expected last month, official data showed on Tuesday.

In a report, Statistics Canada said that Canadian foreign securities purchases rose to a seasonally adjusted 38.84B, from 6.35B in the preceding month whose figure was revised up from 6.20B.

Analysts had expected Canadian foreign securities purchases to rise 5.21B last month.
