Investing.com – Norway equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Technology Hardware & Equipment, Auto & components and Healthcare Equipment & Services sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX added 0.06%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Storebrand ASA (OL:STB), which rose 1.85% or 1.00 points to trade at 54.95 at the close. Schibsted ASA A (OL:SBSTA) added 1.56% or 3.2 points to end at 208.0 and Lerøy Seafood Group ASA (OL:LSG) was up 1.32% or 5.2 points to 400.5 in late trade.
Biggest losers included BW LPG Ltd (OL:BWLPG), which lost 3.74% or 1.49 points to trade at 38.34 in late trade. Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS) declined 2.88% or 0.65 points to end at 21.95 and Aker BP ASA (OL:AKERBP) shed 2.34% or 3.30 points to 137.50.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 92 to 82 and 28 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was up 0.06% or 0.03 to $50.88 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.32% or 0.17 to hit $53.10 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.34% or 4.40 to trade at $1279.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.50% to 9.2367, while USD/NOK rose 0.13% to 8.5899.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.19% at 99.52.
