Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Chemicals, Software & Computer Services and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.46% to hit a new 3-months high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were GN Store Nord (CO:GN), which rose 1.85% or 2.4 points to trade at 131.9 at the close. Meanwhile, Novo Nordisk B (CO:NOVOb) added 1.21% or 4.7 points to end at 393.7 and Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) was up 1.05% or 6.0 points to 579.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Genmab (CO:GEN), which fell 2.03% or 18.5 points to trade at 891.5 at the close. Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH) declined 1.60% or 7.1 points to end at 436.0 and TDC A/S (CO:TDC) was down 1.00% or 0.37 points to 36.72.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 95 to 70 and 6 ended unchanged.
Shares in Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) rose to 3-years highs; gaining 1.05% or 6.0 to 579.0.
Crude oil for January delivery was down 0.31% or 0.13 to $41.52 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 0.50% or 0.23 to hit $44.38 a barrel, while the February Gold contract fell 0.08% or 0.80 to trade at $1064.50 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.49% to 7.0262, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4600.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.32% at 99.95.
