ABU DHABI/CAIRO, Nov 29 (Reuters) - Egypt's state grain buyer, the General Authority for Supply Commodities (GASC), received offers from nine suppliers at its international wheat purchasing tender on Tuesday, Cairo-based traders said.
The lowest offer was $188.74 a tonne free-on-board (FOB) for 60,000 tonnes of Russian wheat, they said.
The results of the tender are due later on Tuesday.
Egypt, the world's largest wheat buyer, is seeking an unspecified amount of wheat for shipment Jan. 2-11.
It was the first purchase tender to take place after the government issued a decree putting Egypt's General Organization for Export and Import Control (GOEIC) in charge of imported wheat inspections instead of the agriculture quarantine service.
The decree follows the resolution of a months-long standoff over wheat import rules that hampered the country's ability to purchase grains from abroad that was largely fuelled by the quarantine service. participation is stabilising at a normal level following all the problems this year," one European trader said.

*Grainbow: 60,000 tonnes of Russian wheat at $190
*ADM: 60,000 tonnes of Russian wheat at $191.50 and 60,000 tonnes of Romanian wheat at $191.99
*Aston: 60,000 tonnes of Russian wheat at $194
*Midgulf: 60,000 tonnes of Russian wheat at $194.30
*Glencore: 55,000 tonnes of Russian wheat at $194.40
*Cerealcom: 60,000 tonnes of Romanian wheat at $194.80
