SEOUL, Jan 15 (Reuters) - Korea Southern Power Co Ltd (KOSPO) KEPCOS.UL bought 228,000 tonnes of Australian and Indonesian steaming coal for loading in March via two spot tenders closed on Thursday, a source from the utility said on Friday.

The utility declined to disclose price information, but other details are as follows:
