Oct 13 (Reuters) - Korea Southern Power Co Ltd (KOSPO) KEPCOS.UL bought 212,000 tonnes of Indonesian and Australian coal for loading in November and December via two spot tenders closed on Oct. 8, a source from the utility said on Tuesday.
The utility initially sought a total of 440,000 tonnes of steaming coal via four spot tenders, but passed on two, the source said.
The passed tenders will be reissued later on Tuesday.
The utility declined to disclose the price and supplier information of the purchased tenders, but other details are as follows:
