SEOUL, Feb 13 (Reuters) - Korea Midland Power Co Ld (KOMIPO) bought a combined 1.13 million tonnes of coal for shipping in the second quarter via a tender that closed on Friday, a source from the utility said on Monday.
The utility purchased a total of 640,000 tonnes of high calorific coal from Australia and a combined 490,000 tonnes of low calorific coal from Indonesia, the source said.
The source declined to give price and seller details, but other details of the purchase are as follows:
