Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Media & Publishing, Industrial Investment and Insurance sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.63%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Automotive Services Co. (SE:4050), which rose 9.96% or 2.30 points to trade at 25.40 at the close. Meanwhile, Anaam International Holding Group (SE:4061) added 3.84% or 0.85 points to end at 23.00 and Saudi Industrial Development Co. (SE:2130) was up 3.66% or 0.45 points to 12.75 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi Research and Marketing Group (SE:4210), which fell 9.46% or 2.35 points to trade at 22.50 at the close. The Company for Coop. Insurance (SE:8010) declined 4.32% or 3.50 points to end at 77.50 and Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (SE:7040) was down 3.88% or 0.25 points to 6.20.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 120 to 46.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 1.42% or 0.61 to $42.32 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 1.07% or 0.50 to hit $46.11 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.17% or 1.80 to trade at $1083.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.13% to 4.0233, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7501.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.15% at 99.21.
