PARIS, Nov 20 (Reuters) - French motorway tolls are set to rise by 0.76 percent on average on Feb. 1 taking into account inflation and non-contractual repair and upgrading work by their private sector operators, a French newspaper reported on Sunday.
The highest increase at 1.197 percent concerns the ASF southern motorways network run by Vinci SGEF.PA , Le Journal de Dimanche reported, without identifying its sources.
Tariffs will rise by 0.572 percent on the Cofiroute network in the west and central France, and by 0.592 percent on the Escota section in the south-east. Both of these are also run by Vinci.
Rates charged in the north-east by Sanef and SAPN, part of Spain's Abertis ABE.MC , will rise by 0.582 percent, the report said.
There will be increases of 0.896 percent and 0.926 percent respectively on the Rhine-Rhone and Rhones Alpes sections of the APPR network run by Eiffage FOUG.PA and Macquarie MQA.AX .
