Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Software & Computer Services and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 5.19% to hit a new 6-months low.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb), which fell 2.92% or 14.8 points to trade at 491.2 at the close. Meanwhile, Tryg A/S (CO:TRYG) fell 3.10% or 3.9 points to end at 122.0 and William Demant Holding (CO:WDH) was down 3.21% or 18.5 points to 557.5 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Genmab (CO:GEN), which fell 11.53% or 86.5 points to trade at 663.5 at the close. Vestas Wind Systems (CO:VWS) declined 9.64% or 40.7 points to end at 381.4 and DSV (CO:DSV) was down 7.70% or 19.6 points to 235.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 147 to 12 and 10 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 2.20% or 0.68 to $30.21 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 1.42% or 0.48 to hit $33.58 a barrel, while the April Gold contract rose 3.05% or 35.30 to trade at $1193.00 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.03% to 6.6853, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4638.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.08% at 96.90.
