Investment Strategy
The fund primarily invests in the listed securities of Asian companies. The fund will ideally consist of 75 to 100 securities that Platinum believes to be undervalued by the market. Cash may be held when undervalued securities cannot be found. Platinum may short sell securities that it considers overvalued. The Portfolio will typically have 50% or more net equity exposure. | Biography | Andrew co-founded Platinum in 1994 as the Deputy Chief Investment Officer, having worked alongside Kerr Neilson for several years at Bankers Trust and perfecting the craft of uncovering the overlooked gems in the stock market. Andrew’s investment experience at Platinum has included managing/co-managing the Platinum International Technology Fund, the Platinum Asia Fund and the Platinum International Fund.
