Biography	Steven Visscher joined the firm in 2005 and is an investment counsellor and co-manager of the Mawer Balanced Fund, the Mawer Global Balanced Fund, and related strategies. Mr. Peterson served on Mawer’s Board of Directors from 2004 to 2020. Mr. Peterson has been working in the financial services industry since 1991. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst charterholder; member of the CFA Institute, the Calgary CFA Society; a Calgary Flames Ambassador; and is a past treasurer and director of Ronald McDonald House, Southern Alberta.

He is a member of Mawer's Executive Team, which drives the development and execution of the firm’s strategic plans, and a member of the Board of Directors, which he first joined in 2000 and chaired from 2008 until 2023
