Investment Strategy

The fund’s objective is to provide total returns consisting principally of interest income by investing primarily in short term fixed income and floating rate debt securities of Canadian and foreign issuers. The fund’s portfolio will primarily be invested in fixed income and floating rate debt securities of Canadian and foreign issuers. It also may invest in debt securities convertible into common stock, and fixed income and floating rate debt securities of governments, government agencies, supranational agencies, companies, trusts and limited partnerships. The fund will not be leveraged.
