Investment Strategy

The investment strategy of the Fund is to provide investors with access to companies listed on the Australian Securities Exchange that Lazard believes are out of favour and trading below their intrinsic value. The number of stocks will generally range from 25 to 45 which mean Lazard makes active investment decisions as to which stocks the Fund holds.

Prior to joining Lazard in 1999, Philipp was the Head of Financial Markets Research with Royal & Sun Alliance in Australia, (previously Tyndall Investment Management) and a tutor/lecturer for the School of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Sydney. Philipp has a BSc (Hons) from The University of Melbourne, a Grad Dip in Economics, from the University of Sydney and a PhD from the University of Sydney. Philipp specializes in interest rate sensitive companies and is fluent in German.

Biography	Warryn Robertson is a portfolio manager/analyst on the Global Listed Infrastructure, Global Equity Franchise, and Australian Equity teams. He has been working in the investment field since 1992. Prior to joining Lazard in April 2001, Robertson was an associate director at Capital Partners. Previously, He worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers Corporate Finance. Robertson holds an MBA from the Melbourne Business School (Melbourne University) and a BCom, University of Canberra.

Biography	Philippe is a Portfolio Manager/Analyst on the Australian Equity Team with Lazard Asset Management Pacific Co. He began working in the investment field in 1983. Prior to joining Lazard in 1999, Philippe was Divisional Director with Macquarie Equities. Philippe has a BEc from the University of Stellenbosch. He analyses companies in the short cycle and long cycle industries (except resources). He is conversational in French and Afrikaans.
