Investment Strategy
The investment seeks to provide growth of capital. The fund seeks to achieve its objective by investing primarily in common stocks of mid-capitalization companies that the manager believes are high quality and/or offer above-average growth potential. Under normal circumstances, it invests at least 80% of its net assets in the securities of mid-capitalization companies, which, for purposes of this fund typically are companies with market capitalizations similar to those of issuers included in the Russell Midcap® Growth Index over the last 13 months at the time of acquisition.

| Biography | Zack comes to Meritage after a 32-year career with Waddell and Reed where he served as Portfolio Manager for the firm’s Science and Technology Fund strategy and as the Director of Research for Global Equity and Fixed Income (2011 – 2016). Waddell and Reed was acquired by the Australian investment firm, Macquarie Asset Management, in 2021. Zack spent a year with the new organization before choosing to pursue local opportunities. Zack grew up in Kansas City and received his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Business Administration from the University of Missouri - Kansas City.
