Investment Strategy

The investment seeks as high a level of current interest income exempt from federal income tax and, to the extent possible, from New York individual income tax, as is consistent with relative stability of principal. The fund normally invests at least 80% of its net assets (including the amount of any borrowings for investment purposes) in municipal securities that pay interest exempt from U.S. federal income tax (including the federal alternative minimum tax (AMT)) and New York individual income tax. The fund is non-diversified.
