The objective of this Fund is to achieve long-term capital appreciation. To achieve this, it invests primarily in the units of mutual funds which, in turn, invest primarily in equity and equity-related securities of companies located in the United States. The Fund also aims to keep exposure to exchange rate fluctuations of the U.S. dollar relative to the Canadian dollar at a minimum by implementing an exchange rate hedging strategy in respect of the mutual fund units that it holds. The Fund will invest in units of American equity funds managed by the Manager or a member of its group that are consistent with the investment objective of the Fund.
