iShares Public Limited Company - iShares Euro Govt Bond 1-3yr UCITS ETF is an exchange traded fund launched by BlackRock Asset Management Ireland Limited. It is co-managed by BlackRock Advisors (UK) Limited, BlackRock Financial Management Inc., and BlackRock (Singapore) Limited. The fund invests in the fixed income markets of the European Monetary Union (EMU) region, which include Germany, Italy, France, Netherlands, and Spain. It invests in the fixed-rate, Euro-denominated, government bonds with a remaining maturity of between one and three years. The fund invests in the investment grade securities that are rated BBB- and above by S&P and Fitch and Baa3 and above by Moody’s. It seeks to replicate the performance of the Barclays Euro Government Bond 1-3 Year Term Index, by employing representative sampling methodology. The fund was formerly known as iShares Public Limited Company - iShares Euro Government Bond 1-3yr UCITS ETF. iShares Public Limited Company - iShares Euro Govt Bond 1-3yr UCITS ETF was formed on June 2, 2006 and is domiciled in Ireland.
