The fund is managed by BlackRock Advisors (UK) Limited. It invests in the public equity markets across the globe. The fund seeks to invest in the stocks of companies operating across diversified sectors. It invests in the stocks of large-cap companies. The fund invests in the stocks of companies which focus on economic, environmental, and social criteria. It seeks to replicate the performance of the Dow Jones Sustainability World Enlarged Index ex Alcohol, Tobacco, Gambling, Armaments & Firearms and Adult Entertainment Index, by employing representative sampling methodology. The fund does not invest in the stocks of companies operating in the alcohol, tobacco, gambling, armaments & firearms, and adult entertainment sectors. It was formerly known as iShares II Public Limited Company - iShares Dow Jones Global Sustainability Screened Fund. iShares II Public Limited Company - iShares Dow Jones Global Sustainability Screened UCITS ETF was formed on February 25, 2011 and is domiciled in Ireland.
