Investment Strategy

The investment seeks long-term capital appreciation. Under normal circumstances, the fund invests at least 80% of the value of its net assets in a diversified portfolio of U.S. equity (or equity-related) securities of large-cap companies (primarily common stocks). Large-cap companies are companies that have a market capitalization at the time of purchase at least equal to that of the smallest company in the Russell 1000® Index, or at least equal to that of the smallest company expected to be included in the Russell 1000 Index after its next scheduled reconstitution.

Biography Head of Equity and Nontraditional Investments Matthew Glaser is responsible for overseeing equities, nontraditional investments, and manager research for Wilmington Trust Investment Advisors, Inc., the investment advisory arm of Wilmington Trust and M&T Bank. Matt has more than two decades of experience in financial services and the investment management industry. Biography Dr. Schultz is the portfolio manager of the Wilmington Mid-Cap Growth Fund and Strategy. He has over 14 years of industry experience. Prior to joining WTIA in 2001, Mr. Schultz worked as an assistant portfolio manager with Caldwell Securities in Toronto, Ontario. He began his career with Royal Bank of Canada in country risk analysis and multinational corporate banking. Dr. Schultz earned a Doctorate in Philosophy in politics from the University of Oxford.

Biography Forrester is a portfolio manager/analyst at RSMC and WTIM. He joined RSMC/WTIM in 2006 and is responsible for providing market research, performance reporting and trade implementation for the Funds. Prior to joining RSMC/WTIM, Forrester was employed by INVESCO. He is a member of the Atlanta Society of Financial Analysts.

Biography Allen E. Choinski, CFA, is a Vice President and Portfolio Manager/Research Analyst of WTIA and is responsible for quantitative equity research and portfolio management to support Wilmington Trust's quantitatively managed equity funds. Mr. Choinski also develops targeted quantitative models. Prior to joining Wilmington Trust in 2007, Mr. Choinski researched and implemented quantitative equity investment strategies at Alpha Equity Management, LLC. He began his investment management career as a financial advisor at Smith Barney, and later worked for five years at ING's Aeltus Investment Management in fundamental and quantitative research. Choiski holds Chartered Financial Analyst designation.

Biography Mr. Macey co-ordinates the asset allocation, fixed income, equity and manager research activities for Wilmington Trust Investment Advisors, the investment advisory arm of M&T Bank. He co-chairs the Portfolio Management and Client Committee. He is a senior member of the firm’s Investment Strategy Team. Mr. Macey joined Wilmington Trust in 2004 with considerable tenure in the financial and investment industries. Prior to joining Wilmington Trust, Mr. Macey served as the director of research at KPMG Investment Advisors, where he led the development of investment policies and asset allocation research. Earlier, he was chief investment officer for American Financial Advisors, LLC, and developed the only financial software program that projects future wealth by using Monte Carlo simulation to model both investment and mortality risk. Mr. Macey is also known as a co-founder of Möbius Group, a leading third-party provider of information on money managers. Mr. Macey holds an M.B.A. from Kenan-Flagler Business School and earned a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Vanderbilt University. Biography Mr. Tamargo is responsible for providing portfolio management and equity research to Wilmington Trust’s quantitative and fundamental teams. He serves as a portfolio manager/analyst for the Enhanced Dividend Income Strategy (EDIS) and the Dividend Growth Strategy, and is a member of the Focused Core portfolio management team. Mr. Tamargo specializes in analyzing stocks in the healthcare, consumer staple, and consumer cyclical sectors. Mr. Tamargo most recently served as a portfolio manager/analyst with Kalmar Investments, specializing in small-cap growth companies. Prior to that, he spent seven years as an analyst, portfolio manager, and director of equity research for Wilmington Trust and rejoined the company in 2007. Earlier in his career, he was an equity analyst at US Trust, following consumer-related equities. Mr. Tamargo holds bachelor’s degrees in Finance and Economics from Temple University.

Biography Glidden is a Vice President with RSMC and WTIM since October 2007. Previously, he was the Director of Investment Analysis for Emory University's Endowment Fund in 2007 and Manager of Investment Analysis from 2002 to 2006. Glidden is responsible for oversight of Wilmington Trust's Manager Research Team. The team constructs multi-manager portfolios across global equities, real assets and hedge funds. Glidden holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
