Biography	Jeffrey Johnson is a Principal and Vanguard’s Head of the Fixed Income Group for Asia-Pacific. In this role, Jeffrey oversees the management of all fixed income, cash, currency hedging, multi-asset and investment solution mandates. Prior to taking on his current role in June 2017, Jeffrey was Head of Investment Strategy Group (ISG) for Vanguard Asia-Pacific. In this role he oversaw a team of economists and senior investment analysts with primary responsibility for developing sound, thorough investment research and strategy. Jeffrey joined Vanguard in 2000, working with individual clients in the organisation’s High Net Worth department. In 2003, he became a Senior Investment Analyst in Vanguard’s Portfolio Review Department, where he was responsible for fund and manager oversight, due diligence on prospective managers, product management and development, institutional client service, and co-management of a team of investment analysts. He then joined ISG in 2013. Jeffrey holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Economics from the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire, and an M.B.A. from Villanova University. He is a CFA charterholder and is a member of the CFA Society of Philadelphia. In addition, Jeffrey is a member of the Investment Committee for the Financial Services Council in Australia. He also chairs Vanguard’s Community program in Australia.
Stephen Howard	-	2007	2017
Biography	Stephen Howard is Head of Fixed Income Group for Vanguard in Australia. In this role, Stephen oversees the management of all fixed interest, cash, currency hedging, multi-asset and investment solution mandates. Stephen joined Vanguard Australia in July 2007 as a Portfolio Manager in the Fixed Interest Group, before being promoted to Senior Portfolio Manager in July 2008. Stephen was appointed to his current role in May 2010. Prior to joining Vanguard, Stephen was previously Manager, Quantitative Services at the Treasury Corporation of Victoria. In this role Stephen was responsible for the pricing and hedging of fixed income and interest rate derivative transactions and was involved in the structuring of a number of the organisation’s debt and asset portfolios. Stephen holds a Bachelor of Commerce, Graduate Diploma in Finance and Investments, and a Master of Commerce (Honours), from the University of Melbourne.
