The aim of the Fund is to provide capital growth, that is, to increase the value of investor's investment over a minimum of 5 years. The Fund also aims to outperform the FTSE All-Share Index over any 5 year period after charges. There is no certainty that either aim of the fund will be achieved. The Fund is actively managed which means the Investment Manager decides which investments to buy or sell, and when. The Fund will invest at least 80% in the shares of companies and investment trusts listed on UK stock exchanges. This will include a range of small, medium and large companies.
