Investment Strategy

The investment seeks long-term growth of capital by investing in equity securities selected for their growth potential. Under normal conditions, the fund invests at least 80% of its net assets in small- and mid-capitalization companies. The advisor expects to invest primarily in domestic common stocks. However, the fund may own foreign common stocks which, in the opinion of the fund’s investment advisor, Thornburg Investment Management, Inc. (“Thornburg”), offer prospects for meeting the fund’s investment goal.

Biography Greg Dunn Portfolio Manager and Managing Director Greg Dunn is portfolio manager for Thornburg Investment Management. Greg joined Thornburg in 2002 as research communications director for the marketing department and was promoted to equity research associate in 2005, associate portfolio manager in 2008, and portfolio manager in 2012. Prior to joining Thornburg, Greg was an investment management analyst for Smith Barney. Greg holds a BS in business with a concentration in finance from Colorado State University and an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business.

Tim received a BA in finance from the University of Nevada and an MBA from the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado at Boulder. He is a CFA charterholder. Prior to graduate school, he was a research associate at Insight Capital Research & Management in Walnut Creek, California.

Biography "Alex Motola is a managing director of Thornburg Investment Management. He was the founding portfolio manager of the Thornburg All Cap Growth Strategy and the Thornburg International Growth Strategy. Alex managed both funds until January 2012. He currently serves as a member of the equity team and plans to retire in 2012. Prior to joining Thornburg, Alex began his financial career as an investment specialist with CoreLink Financial and later served as a portfolio manager with Insight Capital. He holds BAs in English, History, and Medieval Studies and graduated with Honors and Distinction from the University of California, Santa Barbara. He also holds an MBA from the Haas School of Business, University of California at Berkeley. Alex is a CFA charterholder."
