Investment Strategy

The investment seeks long-term capital appreciation and protection of investment principal. The fund invests in equity securities, including common and preferred stocks, convertible securities, and shares of other investment companies and exchange-traded funds ("ETFs") that invest in equity securities. It may invest in securities of companies of any size. In addition to domestic securities, the fund may have up to 25% of its net assets invested directly or indirectly in foreign securities.

Biography Nathan Snyder is a Senior Portfolio Manager of the Snow Capital Opportunity Fund, the Large Cap Value, and the Dividend Plus portfolios. Nathan joined Snow Capital as a Managing Director in 2005. Prior to joining the firm, Nathan was the Director of Equity Investments at Parker/Hunter Asset Management, the investment advisory unit of Janney Montgomery Scott LLC. He also held senior positions with RRZ Investment Management, Delphi Management and William M. Mercer Health Care Consulting. Nathan is a graduate of Harvard University and he received an MBA from the Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University. Nathan is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a member of the CFA Institute and the Pittsburgh Society of Financial Analysts.

Biography Joshua R. Schachter, CFA, is a Portfolio Manager for the Small Cap Value Fund and is jointly responsible for the day-to-day management of the Small Cap Value Fund’s investment portfolio. Mr. Schachter joined the Easterly as Senior Portfolio Manager in July 2021 following the transfer of Snow Capital’s investment advisory business to Easterly. He was a Senior Portfolio Manager of the Snow Capital Small Cap Value and the All Cap Value portfolios. He joined Snow Capital at the firm's inception in 2001. Joshua's duties included security research, selection and portfolio management. Joshua is a graduate of Allegheny College where he earned a B.S. degree. He received his M.B.A. in finance from the University of Pittsburgh. Joshua holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation and is a member of the CFA Institute.
