Investment Strategy

The investment seeks to preserve capital and attain long-term total returns through a combination of current income and moderate capital appreciation. The fund invests primarily in income bearing securities. Osterweis Capital Management, LLC (the “Adviser”) takes a strategic approach and may invest in a wide array of fixed income securities of various credit qualities and maturities. The Adviser seeks to control risk through rigorous credit analysis, economic analysis, interest rate forecasts and sector trend review, and is not constrained by any particular duration or credit quality targets.

Biography Prior to joining Osterweis Capital Management in 2008, Mr. Lee was a key member of the investment management team at Pacific Life Insurance Company, where he managed high yield and convertible bond portfolios, originated and managed two collateralized bond obligation funds, and was actively involved in the credit default swap market for the high yield bond portfolio. Prior to that, Mr. Lee was a Research Analyst with E. F. Hutton Life and Executive Life from 1980 to 1985. Mr. Lee graduated from Loyola Marymount University (B.B.A., M.B.A.). He is a principal of Osterweis Capital Management, a CFA charterholder and a member of the CFA Society of Los Angeles.

Biography Mr. Gregory S. Hermanski serves as Vice President and Portfolio Manager of Osterweis Capital Management, Inc. and Osterweis Capital Management, LLC. He joined the Adviser as an Assistant Portfolio Manager/Analyst in 2002. Mr. Hermanski previously served as a portfolio manager of the Osterweis Strategic Income Fund. Prior to working at the Advisers, Mr. Hermanski served as a Vice President at Robertson, Stephens and Co. from August 2000 to May 2002, where he was in charge of convertible bond research. He also served as a Research Analyst at Imperial Capital, LLC from April 1998 to April 2000, and as a Valuation Consultant from August 1995 to March 1998. Mr. Hermanski earned a B.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles.
