The investment objective of the Sub-Fund is to achieve an attractive total return from a combination of current income and capital appreciation by investing in a diversified portfolio of U.S. and non-U.S. convertible securities and high income securities. The Sub-Fund is actively managed with reference to the benchmark Thomson Reuters CV Gl. Focus (TR) (USD-Hgd). While the Sub-Fund has a reference benchmark, it is actively managed by implementing the investment philosophy and process described in this section. The Investment Manager has an ample degree of freedom to deviate from the benchmark.

Mr. Raketic joined Oaktree and the Non-U.S. Convertible Securities team in early 2005 after completing his undergraduate degree at the University of Maryland. Biography | Mr. Watts is a managing director in Oaktree’s Global Convertibles group focusing on High Income Convertibles portfolio management. Prior to joining Oaktree in 1995, he served as a vice president and assistant portfolio manager in Trust Company of the West’s Convertible Value area. Mr. Watts joined TCW in 1992 after five years with the investment division of the Tennessee Consolidated Retirement System, where he developed and managed the State’s portfolio of convertible securities as well as other fixed income portfolios. Mr. Watts holds a B.A. degree in economics and business administration from Rhodes College and is a CFA charterholder. | ||
