In addition, Mario developed models and systems to aid in the control of positions and risk management of the bank’s funds. In 2000, now at Chase Manhattan Bank, he joined the derivatives and quantitative research department, where he was responsible for stock option trading, as well as developing arbitrage strategies in different markets.Mario graduated with a degree in Industrial Engineering from the Escola Politécnica at Universidade de São Paulo (USP).
