The principal investment objective of the Sub-Fund is to provide the Unitholders with mid-term capital appreciation through investment primarily in transferable securities listed on the Euroland stock exchanges. Assets of the portfolio may be invested in equity related securities, such as convertible bonds. Financial techniques and instruments for hedging and/or non hedging purposes may be used. Such financial techniques and instruments shall be used only to the extent they do not hinder the quality of the investment policy of the Sub-Fund.

Ms. Gaskell's service with the firm dates back to 1994, including her years with Merrill Lynch Investment Managers (MLIM), which merged with BlackRock in 2006. At MLIM, she was responsible for managing Europe ex UK and Eurozone equity portfolios. Ms. Gaskell began her career with MLIM, and has managed European equity portfolios for institutional and retail clients since 1999. Ms. Gaskell earned a BA degree in politics and philosophy from Oxford University in 1994. |
