The Fund's investment objective is to seek capital appreciation. The Fund uses a long-term investment time horizon and employs a flexible valuation approach, placing a heavy emphasis on cash flow and returns-based methodologies. The Fund normally invests primarily in equity securities of issuers with large market capitalizations. The Fund normally invests its assets primarily in U.S. equity securities. The Fund focuses on the stocks of companies management believes are undervalued compared to their perceived worth (value companies). ADRs and U.S. traded securities of foreign issuers are permitted. Management uses an active bottom-up investment approach to buying and selling investments. Investments are selected primarily based on fundamental analysis of individual issuers. Management normally invests the Fund's assets across different industries and sectors, but may invest a significant percentage of the Fund's assets in issuers in a single industry or sector.
