The Gavekal Global Equities UCITS Fund (“the fund”)’s investment objective is to outperform the MSCI World Index with a lower volatility. The fund typically owns between 35 and 50 individual equities, across the globe and can at times display concentrated country, or sector, risk. The fund is a long-only fund that does not use leverage.The fund offers daily liquidity with a US$ and GBP share class.

Biography | Louis-Vincent Gave co-founded GaveKal in 1999 with his father Charles and Anatole Kaletsky. GaveKal started as an independent research firm and evolved in 2005 to include fund management and in 2008 to include data analysis services. Since 2005, Louis-Vincent has mostly focused on the money management side of the business. Before co-founding GaveKal, Louis-Vincent worked for Paribas Capital Markets where he was an equity research analyst from 1997 to 1999. In 1996 and 1997, Louis-Vincent served in the French Mountain Infantry Division as a Second Lieutenant. Louis-Vincent studied Economics, History and Chinese at Duke University and Nanjing University. In the past decade, Louis has written five books, including his latest "Too Different For Comfort", published in October 2013. Biography | Steven Vannelli is Founder and CEO of Knowledge Leaders Capital and Chief Investment Officer of the Knowledge Leaders Strategy. He oversees investment strategy, asset allocation and security selection. Steve leads development on the firm’s analysis of intangible capital, studying how it affects corporate profitability and wealth creation. His work is the core of the firm’s investment methodology, which is based on a novel approach to accounting for intangible capital. Steve has been an equity analyst and portfolio manager for more than 20 years. Previously, he served for 10 years at Denver-based money management firm Alexander Capital, most recently as Head of Equities. Steve holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Denver and is a CFA charterholder. |
