The investment seeks capital appreciation. The fund invests in securities issued throughout the world. It invests primarily in common stocks. The fund invests at least 80% of assets in stocks of companies principally engaged in the energy, metals, and agriculture group of industries. The advisor allocates investments across different countries and regions. The advisor uses fundamental analysis of factors such as each issuer's financial condition and industry position, as well as market and economic conditions, to select investments.
