Investment Strategy

The investment seeks to provide a high and stable level of income exempt from federal and Alabama personal income taxes derived from Alabama municipal securities without incurring undue risk to principal. The fund seeks to provide a steady flow of tax-exempt income derived from Alabama municipal securities of investment grade quality (those rated BBB or Baa or higher by U.S. nationally recognized rating services at the time of purchase) with a weighted average nominal maturity normally greater than 10 years.

Biography	Mr. Dupree is the chairman of Dupree & Company, Inc. and the president of Dupree Mutual Funds. From 1955 to 1980, he worked in municipal bond sales as a trader and institutional salesman. He founded Dupree Mutual Funds in 1979. He has more than 50 years of experience in the municipal bond industry.
