Investment Strategy

The investment seeks to maximize total returns from the universe of eligible investments. The fund seeks to achieve its investment objective through exposure to a broad portfolio of investment grade debt securities of U.S. and non-U.S. corporate and government issuers. As a non-fundamental policy, under normal circumstances, at least 80% of the Portfolio's net assets will be invested in fixed income securities considered to be investment grade quality.

Prior to joining Dimensional in 1989, he managed stock index futures and options for Leland O’Brien Rubinstein Associates and was an operations planner for Texas Instruments.

Biography Clark is Dimensional's Head of Portfolio Management and Vice President and is chairman of the Investment Committee. He joined Dimensional in 2001 as a general portfolio manager in U.S. equities, became head of international equities trading in 2004 and assumed his current position in 2006. His financial career began at John Nuveen & Co. in 1997, where he worked on mergers and acquisitions for the health care services division. He earned an MBA from the University of Chicago and a BS from Bradley University.
