Biography Jim joined the funds management business of BT Financial Group, now Pendal Group, in August 2007. Jim manages Australian equity long-only mandates and a Long/Short fund in addition to comanaging the Imputation and Geared Imputation funds. Previously, Jim was at Colonial First State where he was the portfolio manager for the Leaders Fund (a top 100 concentrated fund) as well as running the Geared Share Fund and a concentrated Trans Tasman Fund. Prior to Colonial, Jim spent eight years at BT Funds Management where he covered a large number of sectors of the Australian market as well the insurance and media sectors of the U.S. market for the international equities team. Prior to this, Jim worked at Arthur Andersen for four years in various roles within the audit and advisory and corporate finance divisions.
Andrew Waddington - 2010 2022
Biography Andrew joined Rothschild Australia Asset Management, which later became part of BT Financial Group and is now Pendal Group, as an analyst in the Australian Equities team in 1998. Andrew manages our range of Midcap and Tax Effective funds and co-manages our imputation funds. Prior to 1998, Andrew worked for BT Funds Management for eight years as an analyst for North American Equities and currency management. He also gained experience in settlements, dealing and analyst roles within companies such as Prudential Bache Capital Funding (London). Andrew holds a Bachelor of Economics from the University of New England and a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment from the Financial Services Institute of Australasia.
