The Beutel Goodman U.S. equity strategy aims to grow capital over the long term through the application of a highly disciplined value investing approach emphasizing capital preservation and a focus on absolute risk and return. This is achieved by investing in a small number of carefully researched securities issued by U.S.-based companies. The strategy focuses on equity securities issued by larger companies who are leaders in their field. Each investment needs to show, through in-depth fundamental research, that it is significantly undervalued (we look for companies that will return a minimum of 50% over a three-year period).
