The Portfolio Class’ objective is to provide long-term returns with lower risk by investing primarily in a diversified mix of income, bond, money market and equity mutual funds. To achieve these objectives, the Portfolio manager generally allocates the Portfolio Class ’ assets among underlying funds, which are primarily managed by AGF Investments or an AGF Investments affiliate.

Biography | Martin Hubbes, CFA, was named chief investment officer in June 2005. After joining the company in 1992 as an investment analyst, Martin was appointed managing director of AGF Management (Deutschland) GmbH in Berlin the following year. He returned to Canada in 1994 and became lead portfolio manager of AGF Canadian Stock Fund in 1996. In addition to this mandate, Martin is the lead manager of AGF Canada Class and co-manager of AGF Global Health Sciences Fund. He was the lead manager of AGF Canadian Growth Fund, which merged in 1998 with AGF Canadian Equity Fund to form AGF Canadian Stock Fund. |
