Senior Financial Markets Journalist

We are seeking a full-time Senior Financial Journalist to provide fast paced news coverage of the global financial markets.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be required to publish five to eight short articles per day on a range of financial topics. Articles are short-form, informational and average 250 to 300 words in length. The successful candidate must be a self-starter and use initiative but will receive editorial guidance and feedback. The ability to write 1-2 longer form opinion and analysis articles throughout the week is also required.

Requirements:

• Must be a native English speaker with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Understanding of the financial markets (Currency/Commodity/Indices).
• Experience in writing on business or finance topics.
• Technology savvy
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
